Dear IGCOs,
I’m writing to update you on the current issue affecting the B-12 (Daily Reflections) book.
We have confirmed that a significant portion of the recent B-12 print run has a binding defect, resulting in books arriving with pages separating or falling out. Even replacement shipments have been reported damaged, including multiple replacement orders sent to Boston Central Service.
Following a warehouse inspection of 400 randomly selected copies, every book inspected was found damaged and unsaleable, indicating that the entire inventory is likely affected.
Because of the extent of the issue:
- B-12 will be placed on backorder effective immediately.
We will not send further replacement copies, as replacements have also arrived damaged.
- Instead, we will be issuing credits for any damaged B-12 orders received. The printer has acknowledged a bindery error and will be providing credits for the damaged stock. We will share an update on restocking and reprinting as soon as that information becomes available.
In the meantime, if groups need an alternative, you may wish to recommend the B-19 (Large Print) edition of Daily Reflections.
Please let me know if you have questions or need support communicating this to your groups.
****PS If you have purchased a regular print Daily Refletions between July 2025 and January 2026 from COGF and the binding is bad, please call the office at 614-253-8501. When we get the replacement order in the upcoming weeks we will replace your defective book if you bring it into the office. Please reach out to the office so that we can start a list and can call you back when the replacements come in. You MUST bring in the defective book once we call you in order to get it replaced.
